Benvenuti in Italia!

At the beginning of April four nurse students (Kaupo, Kätlin, Olga and Hettel) from Tartu Health Care college arrived to Foggia. We were all excited about our staying in Foggia. Our ride was quite aventurous and funny.

When were arrived to Foggia train station we were picked up and taken to our new living. The owner of that flat didn´t understand English that much but thanks for local Erasmus people we got all important information. Our living is quite big and everyone has its own room. We almost have all the conveniences but yet we don´t have a washing machine.. what we are waiting for.

We were also a bit shocked because there were no dishes in the house
but Erasmus people helped us out. People are really friendly, polite and caring in Foggia and we are very thankful for
that!

Living in south italy is quite more different than living in Estonia.. long fiestas, no strict rules in traffic, different habits etc.. so we are trying to settle down. We also study Italian and practice it with locals. On our first days we went out to see the beautiful city and old town. We were amazed by the beauty of this town and took pictures almost in every corner.

The weather is quite good, sometimes a bit rainy and windy but it still feels like Estonian summer and we are happy about that.

So next we hope to start with our practice in Foggia hospital.
